Paralegal, Banking and Finance Responsibilities: Create initial drafts of ancillary loan documents for attorney review. Organize due diligence in preparation for transaction closings. Prepare final documents for closing and interface with clients to coordinate closings. Prepare memoranda to open new matters. Create and maintain electronic directories. Maintain and organize physical files. Prepare and send out transmittal letters to banks and others. Save, print and file document submissions. Prepare delivery requests as needed. Prepare closing binders for completed transactions. Redact and edit documents as requested. Copy and collate packages for loan closings. Maintain closed files, log and follow up on post-closing items.
Qualifications: Should have 3 years of Banking and Finance Paralegal experience. Experience with editing, revising and drafting legal documents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accurate typing speed of 65+ wpm. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. General office and computer experience. Reliable attendance record Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
