Bilingual Immigration Paralegal The candidate communicating with clients and assisting attorneys in case preparation in immigration matters including family-based, humanitarian, and removal cases. Prepare immigration applications and supporting documentation. Communicate with clients regarding case status and requirements. Draft legal correspondence. Conduct research on legal issues. Assist attorneys with legal clinics and workshops. Communicate with law enforcement, government officials, and other attorneys on cases. Participate in trainings on immigration and related topics. Other tasks as assigned by the managing attorney. Must have Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience. Should have advanced proficiency in computer programs (including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must have experience working with the immigrant community. Knowledge of and/or experience in immigration law is a plus. Must be able to handle a caseload, speaks Spanish fluently, and is interested in working with the immigrant community.
