The Law Firm of Smith and Hassler is seeking a highly skilled full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our Plaintiff's Personal Injury team. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of litigation experience in managing all aspects of the client case file and discovery processes through trial verdict, as well as a demonstrated history of trial support experience including trial technical support for the presentation of evidence. The successful candidate must be bilingual (Spanish) and have a Paralegal Certification (preferred). A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required. Job Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of the client case file and discovery processes through trial verdict - Provide trial support experience including trial technical support for presentation of evidence - Coordinate and work in a team environment - Manage multiple cases and projects concurrently - Provide excellent verbal and written communication skills - Utilize strong computer technical skills - Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills - Conduct online research (PublicData and Lexis) - File and record documents electronically (PACER, Texas efiling, and Simplifile, etc.) - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Teams and OneNote) - Proficiency with Adobe and document management systems Job Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year Benefits: - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Professional development assistance - Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: One location Litigation Paralegal at Law Firm of Smith and Hassler The law firm of Smith and Hassler is looking for a highly skilled litigation paralegal to join their plaintiff's personal injury team.
