Paralegal The candidate will authorizations, scheduling of IME's and depositions, preparing medical chronologies, expert research, management of discovery in civil cases, trial preparation and other tasks as required. Knowledge and experience with medical malpractice matters, in the range of 3-5 years at minimum, Ability to read and interpret all types of medical, dental, pharmacutical, and radiology imaging records, whether handwritten or computer generated. Experience generating efficient summaries of medical records, with emphasis on the particular issues in a case, Comfort and experience with reviewing discovery responses in medical malpractice matters. Experience with requesting records either through third party record services, or via own subpoenas. Working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure that pertain to professional liability matters. must be well-organized, and assist the supervising attorney with achieving and maintaining file organization. Must have excellent computer skills, and communication skills, both in writing and verbally. Must demonstrate creative thinking, strong research skills, superior verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with internet-based resources such as LexisNexis.
