Assistant Paralegal 1/Reporting Coordintaor The candidate will be responsible to learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications and petitions. Build knowledge of Firm and client processes. Update case management system to ensure accurate and real time data for case tracking. Provide reporting support to attorneys, paralegals and clients relating to tracking the preparation and filing of immigration petitions and applications. Assist with the ongoing development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of client benchmark reports. Review benchmark report data relating to an immigration process and ensure missing and incorrect data is corrected. Communicate regularly with team supervisors regarding reporting requirements and data integrity questions. Customize, create and format reports using Business Objects/Web Intelligence (WEBI). Customize reports in Excel format after importing from Business Objects/Web Intelligence (WEBI) reporting tool. The candidate should have BS or BA degree with 2-3 years of experience providing reporting support in a professional office environment using SAP Business Objects/Web Intelligence (WEBI). Basic understanding of web-based data driven technologies. Must have advanced experience working in MS Excel, including demonstrated use of filters, conditional formatting, pivot tables and formulas, index matches. Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Meets assigned deadlines and communicates progress to supervisors. Communicates both verbally and in writing clearly and accurately and adheres to client and firm confidentiality and privacy. Responds timely and effectively to client and team requests and knows when to escalate. Should have strong customer service skills to both internal and external clients and excellent attention to detail. Strong organization skills with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently, as a member of a team and under supervision. Understanding of business immigration law preferred and prior experience with business immigration firm preferred.
