Title : Title Search Paralegal

Title Search Paralegal The candidate will conduct full and limited title research and examination for complex commercial, vacant land, and residential properties. Locate prior title insurance policies. Draft title reports that evaluate and summarize title records and property history. Draft, read, interpret, and plat metes and bounds descriptions. Prepare, monitor, and manage all documentation for real estate closings from contract through closing, recording, disbursement, and obtaining title insurance. Process, proofread and edit Real Estate documents and other written materials. Prior experience in residential and commercial Real Estate title searching, including searching Registries of Deeds physical books and online resources, Clerks AOC terminals is required. Must have knowledge and experience with identifying and evaluating restrictive covenants, easements, access, rights of way, probate, estate, and foreclosure matters. Should able to issue-spot and to think critically and analytically. Experience using Simplifile, LiensNC.com, Tract Plotter strongly preferred. should be Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Outlook, and Excel. Proven experience working independently in a prior position is required.
