Legal Secretary - Trial The candidate will arrange and schedule meetings and appointments; heavy calendaring. Will manage a high volume of travel itineraries. Meet regularly with designated attorneys to coordinate, schedule and follow through on projects and actions. Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications. Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents. Create and revise electronic documents; proofread material to ensure high quality product. Prepare expense reports and track receipts. Assist with Elite Webview time entries; assume responsibility for billing process as directed. Locate information for assignments as directed. Uphold a strict level of confidentiality. Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele. Provide support for additional attorney assignments when team coverage is necessary. Assist with special projects and cooperate with other support staff in performing any duty essential to the achievement of efficient operations. May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above. A High School diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent is needed. Should have 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary, executive assistant, or high-level administrative assistant. Accurate typing skills of 50 wpm is needed. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written is needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook, is preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Filing procedures and knowledge of state, local, and federal court rules is preferred.
