Firmwide Paralegal and Legal Support Director Job Location US-VA-Richmond Category Legal Support Pos. Type Regular Full-Time Overview LLP has an opening for a firmwide Paralegal Director in either our Richmond, VA, Tysons, VA, Washington, DC, or Charlotte, NC office. The director will serve as a single point of contact to provide support, resources and metrics to better direct work of paralegals and other professional support staff across all of our practice groups and offices. Responsibilities Analyze financial and statistical analyses and metrics Prepare and manage various paralegal department budgets Develop policies and procedures for paralegals, professional agents and other legal support Develop training programs for enhanced performance and utilization of paralegals Provide advice, coaching, advocacy and guidance regarding performance management, compensation planning and other relevant HR policies and programs Assist in recruitment of paralegals by vetting resumes and interviewing prospective candidates Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two full time equivalent employees Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field and at least five years of experience as a paralegal, consultant, advisor, etc. to professional services staff in a law firm, professional services or corporate environment Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels within the firm Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources Capable of encouraging excellence in all aspects of legal professionalism and workplace performance against firm-wide standards and regularly reports to management at specified intervals Ability to travel to other office locations as needed Have more questions?
