Paralegal - Lending Duties : The candidate shall handle title and survey review. Draft closing instructions. Coordinate closing documents and matters. Draft Uniform Commercial Code financing statements. Draft amendments to loan documents. Act as liaison between attorney and client, facilitating communication and transmittal of necessary information. Make independent and critical decisions regarding exchange of information with client, file management, and delegation of responsibilities. Qualifications : The candidate shall have a Bachelor s degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience in a legal setting. 3+ years of lending/corporate experience, preferably in a law firm setting or financial institution. Skill with interpersonal relationships and ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and outside contacts. Ability to effectively work within a team environment. Skill in organizing and prioritizing work according to timelines and importance of tasks, and following assignments through to completion.
