Legal Secretary The candidate will handle following duties: Answer and screen high volume of incoming calls; Perform competently all the functions (including advanced functions) of the Firm's various software programs; Prepare bills and cover letters; Maintain client files, minute books, and weekly maintenance of CCH books; Compose drafts of letters, memos and faxes; Proofread and edit all documentation; Prepare drafts for opening entries; Heavy typing, transcribing of dictation, drafting and editing of text from rough drafts; Review and prepare American Express bills and/or expenses for traveling and entertainment business. A High School Diploma is necessary. Should have 5+ years of legal experience in a medium to large sized law firm. Must have working knowledge of office procedures and technology. Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
