Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be highly motivated and possess a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a regional or national law firm setting; will assist and support all aspects of a heavy litigation practice. Should possess a working knowledge of the Texas/Federal Rules of Civil Procedures and Texas Statutes, and be able to effectively handle the multiple and varied responsibilities of case management and trial preparation; including drafting and analyzing legal documents, performing legal research, and working with discovery documents in a fast-paced team environment. Trial experience as well as knowledge of summarizing medical records, HIPAA releases, and organizing medical information for experts, depositions, and trials are highly desired. The ability to exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and produce an accurate and high-quality work product are essential requirements for this position. Strong organizational and communication skills and a strong working knowledge of computer applications and litigation support systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Relativity are needed.
