Junior Legal Secretary Duties: Responsible for the accurate completion of work assigned by multiple attorneys. Responsibilities include word processing, drafting correspondence, briefs, memos and agreements, filing, billing, time entry, answering telephones, faxing, scheduling meetings and conference rooms, making travel arrangements, submitting expenses, calendar maintenance and handling daily mail.
Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent. 4 year College degree preferred. 1-2 years of administrative/clerical experience in a law firm setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience in commercial or other litigation practice areas is preferred. Must have strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
