Assist in trial preparation as needed. - Manage confidential information with discretion. - Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and attorneys to schedule hearings. - Ensure calendar is accurate. - Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems. - Engage and communicate with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings. - Provide general administrative assistance, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, sending correspondence, and copying documents. - Assemble documents in Adobe Acrobat, including bates-labeling, redacting, and ensuring exhibits are properly marked. - Efiling. Qualifications: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. - 5+ years' experience working in a law firm as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal. - Current Texas Notary Commission. - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor. - Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines. - Background check will be conducted.
