Legal Secretary / Administrative Assistant The candidate will draft legal correspondence and other formal documents; Plan and schedule appointments and events; Greet and assist clients; Answer inbound telephone calls on a multi-line system; Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail; Updating and maintaining client records and databases; Develop and implement organized filing systems; Perform all other office tasks. The candidate should have previous experience in office administration or other related fields, preferably in the legal field; Ability to prioritize and multitask; Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A pleasant telephone manner; Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency in Access is preferred but not required. Proficiency in legal database software including Time Matters and Needles; Strong attention to detail; Strong organizational skills; Notary Public a plus.
