Litigation Attorney Duties: Review and analyze newly contested mortgage foreclosure actions. Construct and execute focused litigation plans aimed at quickly resolving disputes (whether by entry of final judgment, by other court action, or by settlement). Advise clients as to implications of threatened and pending litigation, advisable courses of action and likely range of possible outcomes. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and briefs; represent client at hearings, depositions, mediations and trials. Review and approve final bills to clients and follow up on past due invoices. Requirements: JD Degree. Florida Bar in good standing; ideally Federal District Courts in Florida. 2+ years practice of law, including at least 1-year litigation and at least 1-year foreclosure or foreclosure litigation; ideally at least 1 trial or evidentiary hearing with witnesses. Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office.
