Managing Attorney-Real Estate The candidate will handle all legal tasks normally performed by the Attorneys in the Firm, while at the same time, managing and advising the 3 teams of Attorneys. Will also focus on executing the Partners strategic growth plans that have been put in place. May be required to assist in production; however, the goal is to have this Attorney design and manage a team which can handle the workload independently. Supervise and direct all Associate Attorneys in the Firm. Provide communications between the Partners and Associate Attorneys in the Firm. Coordinate with the Executive management team to ensure that client expectations are met, and SLAs and SOWs are met. Develops strategic growth, hiring and necessary expansion initiatives to expand the organization into other markets. Coordinate with Human Resources to develop KPIs and other tools to measure the performance of the Associate Attorneys. Coordinate with HR to ensure the Firm is properly staffed within the Attorney teams. Develop and supervises training programs for Attorneys and lay management. Develop and manages daily expectations and milestones for Attorney teams. Develop and maintains a budget and financial based goal for the Firms Attorneys. Assess current staff Attorney teams to determine strength and weaknesses and implements tools to manage the teams to the best of their potential. Coordinate with other members of the Firm to develop and execute marketing strategy for the regional market. Develop and maintains a mentorship program with Associate Attorneys to assist in their career development. Develop and maintains a mentorship program with area law schools including summer intern and externship programs. Support the company as assigned by the CEO in any other tasks or duties. Adheres to company policies and guidelines. Must have 8+ years of practice experience, 5+ years of management experience and 3+ years of real estate law experience. Must possess a Juris Doctorate. Licensed to practice and able to waive in or become licensed within 1 year of hire. Licensure in South Carolina and/or Georgia is a plus. Should have extensive knowledge of mortgage industry, financial technology, and real estate industry. Exceptional management skills and confidence; business acumen; entrepreneurial spirit. Mergers and acquisition knowledge is a plus, maintains a professional demeanor at work. Proficient in English and proficient in Spanish a plus. Should use information technology and related applications to convey and retrieve information; demonstrates strong computer/typing skills in Microsoft Office, email programs, and internet browsers. Telephone skills, including a pleasant phone voice and etiquette. Verbal communication: maintains open lines of communication with other. Should use standard English to clearly communicate thoughts, ideas, and information in written form.
