Family Law Paralegal The candidate will provide valued administrative support to multiple family law attorneys. Will respond to client inquiries with exceptional customer service. Assist with the drafting of notices, subpoenas, summons, correspondence and the like. Aid in the preparation of courtesy copies, discovery responses and trial documents. Scan, organize and file documents in the firm's electronic and hard copy filing systems. E-file documents with various Circuit Courts and docketing relevant court dates and deadlines. Schedule, coordinate and confirm settlement conferences, appointments and other meetings. Maintain billable time records, follow up on client account balances, and help with other billing-related matters. Perform other tasks and participating in special projects as necessary. The candidate should have a high school diploma (or GED equivalent). Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Studies certificate is preferred. Must have 2-5 years of prior family law paralegal experience. Superior interpersonal and communication skills are needed. Proficiency in Russian or Spanish preferred. Familiarity with MS Office products, Apple computers and general office equipment is needed. Clio billing software experience a plus.
