Plaintiffs Paralegal The candidate will assist the firm's trial lawyers. Will schedule calendars, communicate with defense, court reports, and ensure travel for supporting attorney as needed. Legal research and writing, including drafting answers to complaints, discovery request and motions. Scheduling calendars, watching deadlines, communication with defense, court reporters and ensuring travel for supporting attorneys. Working knowledge of e-file. Working independently yet collaboratively with Attorney. B.S. Degree or Paralegal Certification is preferred. Must be experienced with preparing and answering discovery, reviewing medical records for purposes of identifying key witnesses, creating timelines for case events, preparing deposition summaries, keeping track of discovery deadlines, drafting correspondence, and assisting with all other aspects of preparing a complex case for trial. Should have working knowledge of Pennsylvania civil rules and procedures. Working knowledge of e-file is needed. Must be resourceful and possess excellent research skills, Westlaw preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills is needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential.
