Paralegal The candidate responsibilities include, fact finding and investigations, drafting, editing, and cite-checking pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, preparing and attending depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, and assisting in all facets of post-trial work. Previous experience recording billable time is required, as is proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, and state and federal e-filing programs. Should have 3-4 years of general litigation experience, including, construction, government enforcement and investigations, and labor and employment matters. Must have either a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program. Should possess strong organizational skills in the management of paper and electronic files and the ability to manage work for multiple attorneys and cases with discerning attention to detail.
