Temporary Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will communicate with clients and vendors/medical offices. Summarize medical records. Calendaring in Outlook. Data entry. Copy/scan/file/mail/ship. Scheduling depos and confirming appointments. Obtain medical records. File pleadings and motions in both federal and state courts. Format documents I.e., Letters of Rep. Records request, etc. Adhere to the firm's SOPs. Various Administrative tasks. Experience in the personal injury field is needed. Experience with trial preparation is needed. Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and critical thinking skills, be a self-starter, highly organized, able to work independently, assess the firm's needs and complete tasks unprompted, and be deadline oriented. Should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and OneDrive, proficient in case management software, Casebeer, preferred. Should possess competence with scanning, faxing, and electronic file storage organization. Strong attention to detail, must be willing to learn and be able to take constructive feedback. Managing up to 50 case files at a time.
