Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in civil litigation. Practice areas include a mix of personal injury and business/construction litigation. Specific areas include: auto/truck injury cases; medical malpractice; legal malpractice; slip and fall; construction defects and payment claims; trademark litigation; business disputes/litigation; insurance litigation. Job responsibilities for this position include: new client screening; communications with existing clients and opposing counsel; witness interviews; helping prepare draft pleadings and discovery responses; e-filing pleadings with the courts we are in front of; medical record review and preparing chronologies; e-discovery and e-document organization; manage and track case calendars and court deadlines; helping track medical and insurance lien claims, also including Medicare/Medicaid liens. Computer skills are required, and experience with social media marketing is a plus.
