Paralegal Specialist - Trademark Duties: Consist of preparing drafts of legal and other documents and correspondence for attorney review. Handle assignments and post-registration filings for U.S. registrations, handle U.S. filings for foreign-based clients, and keeping clients apprised of the status of marks. Work to complete standard U.S. trademark application filings, and individual or limited group foreign filing programs, including the legalization of documents. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate. Should have 10 years as a Paralegal. Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar technology. Knowledge of USPTO procedures. Large firm experience is preferred. Conducting trademark clearance searches. Knowledge of computerized docketing systems. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are desired.
