Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will be summarizing medical records/creating medical chronologies. Keeping files organized by monitoring case calendars; documenting actions, and inputting information into case management software (Needles). Communicating with Attorney concerning case status. Extensive client contact to communicate case progress and status updates in a professional manner. Case development through maintaining contact with adjusters, medical providers, other attorneys. Maintaining case costs by verifying outstanding balances with clients and medical providers and entering such into Needles. Keeping accurate records of copies/postage/faxes for each file. Requesting medical records and bills from providers as necessary. Following up with providers regarding all records and bills. Verifying all outstanding balances to prepare file for settlement. Disputing liens as necessary. Ensuring PIP and or MEDPAY is processed and exhausted. Preparing demand packages for settlement. Prior experience with Needles case management software preferred. Highly organized, motivated and able to handle a large volume of cases. Able to handle a personal injury cases from inception to settlement.
