Paralegal - Trust & Estates The candidate will be responsible for providing support to attorneys. Under the direction of an attorney, with minimal supervision assists with all aspects of estate planning and trust administration work. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience. ABA approved Paralegal course of study or North Carolina State Paralegal Certification is required. Must have 10+ years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal. Experience with estate and non-profit administration including accounting, filings and forms is required. Experience Analyzing legal materials, maintaining reference files and databases is essential. Estate administration experience is a must. Experience preparing and filing federal estate tax returns. Experience withprobate filings and fiduciary accounting. Experience reviewing and preparing estate plans and other legal documents. Proficient knowledge of tax preparation and fiduciary accounting software. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel. Familiarity with Model Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility. Must possess a high level of communication skills (written and verbal).
