Legal Secretary The candidate will be drafting correspondence and routine pleadings. Calendaring and follow-up with attorneys. Organization of files and documents. Scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations and court dates. Court filings (state and federal) and subpoena preparation. Trial preparation and recording attorneys' time. Answering phones and processing mail. Responding to discovery. Should be experienced Litigation Legal Secretary well versed in the litigation process. Must have 1+ years of current law firm experience. Excellent technical skills (Microsoft Office 2010/WordPress/Concordance). Knowledge of local court rules and procedures. Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to type at least 65 WPM and good references.
