Advocacy Paralegal Coordinator The candidate will assist the Director and the Advocacy Practice Managers and Coordinators with assigning work to Advocacy paralegals based on capabilities, availability and developmental needs. Monitor paralegal utilization and address productivity issues as appropriate. Monitor and address paralegal performance issues in real-time, including soliciting input from attorneys or other supervisors as needed. Plan and arrange meetings and calls to include monthly and ad hoc meetings with the Advocacy paralegals. Coordinate the annual paralegal evaluation and compensation adjustment processes for the Advocacy Practice Groups, including completion of evaluation forms, providing the Director with input on compensation adjustments and scheduling of performance evaluation meetings. Coordinate needs assessments for new paralegal hires and work with Human Resources on recruitment and hiring. Coordinate onboarding and training of new paralegal hires and offboarding of departing paralegals. Work with Talent Management to develop and coordinate training programs for Advocacy paralegals, including professional development and knowledge management topics. Establish strong rapport and relationships with Advocacy paralegals, Advocacy Practice Management team, Advocacy Practice Group Leaders, and other business services personnel across different departments. Work with Human Resources on morale and retention issues. Foster and encourage a culture of superior client service, responsiveness, innovation and collegiality. Bachelor's degree is required. Should have 2+ years of related practice support and experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm.
