Paralegal/Legal Assistant Duties: Analyze and review case documents, identify legal issues, and prepare immigration applications or petitions with supporting documentation. Work with clients to gather the necessary information and documentation in a timely manner. Draft support statements and organize documents for filing, such as responses to request for additional evidence and waivers. Manage and monitor the status of all assigned cases.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. Excellent appearance. Fluency in Spanish and English, including speaking, reading, and writing. Excellent research and writing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage significant caseload, deadlines, and other tasks simultaneously. Have good interpersonal relations with co-workers and clients. Be willing to be a team player. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Demonstrated multi-cultural skills and sensitivity. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
