Litigation Paralegal/ Bodily Injury Duties: Responsible for litigation preparation from start to finish; Draft pleadings, memos, and correspondence; Trial preparation and Trial Binder; Comply with and propound discovery; Mediation preparation; Hearings preparation; Correspond with medical providers, clients, and other law firms; Maintain and/or create medical balance sheets; Prepare settlement statements; Litigation case management; Perform investigative searches; Conduct various searches and queries on the internet; Meet with clients; Manage scheduling of depositions and hearings; Coordination with court reporting companies; and Coordinate with outside sources and third-parties. Qualifications: 5+ years of paralegal experience (Plaintiff or Defense); Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook); Experience with Client Profiles/Aderant a plus; Knowledge of efiling systems (state and/or federal); Familiar with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure; Excellent communication skills, customer service relationships, soft skills, decision making, and relationship building.
