Legal Secretary The candidate should have 5 years of litigation experience. Must have broad based experience in a law firm setting, including court filings, state and federal e-filing requirements, litigation calendaring, service requirements, and other tasks as needed or directed by attorneys. In addition, the candidate must have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to draft and format legal documents, correspondence, redlines, and other advanced word processing skills. The candidate must also be positive, detail oriented, a self starter, well-organized, with excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. The candidate will also be tasked with administrative responsibilities including scheduling, maintaining the attorney s files, answering phones, scanning mail and maintaining electronic and hard copy files on a regular basis.
