Legal Secretary The candidate's responsibilities include: Draw up legal documents including summonses and complaints, discovery requests, motions, pretrial agreements, subpoenas, etc. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Maintain organized files, including copies of all documents and correspondence. Perform other administrative duties as they arise. Qualifications: Computer literate in word processing, cut and paste, databases, email, and office software. Should have 2-3 years experience for White Plains attorney solo practitioner; near Metro-North station; knowledge of Wordperfect Office X5 and X9 necessary; dictaphone experience a must; law firm experience/litigation and transactions and knowledge of electronic court filing required; be willing to take initiative in helping to run the office; WPM 65; able to work under deadlines.
