Legal Secretary The candidate will provide administrative support to partners in the litigation practice group. Edit, format, print and revise all letters, memos, reports, forms, labels and other printed material. Maintain daily appointment calendar, book meetings, make travel arrangements, as required. Open and close client files. Facilitate meetings of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders to attorney. Entering of attorneys time for timesheets and billing purposes. Keeping files organized and current. Answer phone calls, take notes, messages and redirect calls when appropriate. Perform other administrative duties, as assigned.
The candidate should preferably have Bachelor's Degree. Must have 5-10 years of related experience. Knowledge of MS Office and Word required. Ability to work with legal technology; i.e. court filings, computer systems. Attention to Detail a must. Time Management Skills essential. Communication Proficiency (verbal and written) needed. Excellent Organizational Skills required.
