Paralegal The candidate will responsible for: Preparing legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, discovery and appeals. Organizing and preparing documents for trials. Preparing affidavits or other documents, such as legal correspondence, and organizing and maintaining documents in our electronic filing system. Working closely with our Illinois associates to ensure cases are moved forward accurately and smoothly. Communicating with clients and following client standards for work product. Collections or Creditors Rights experience a plus. Should have knowledge of statutes, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules. Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Must preferably have 1 year paralegal experience.
