IP Trademark Paralegal The candidate will be preparing and filing all PTO communications including, new applications; Office Action responses; Allegations of Use; Declarations of Use; Renewals; assignments and security interests. Will have responsibilities in the area of foreign prosecution include filing new foreign applications and related documents; foreign assignments and security interests; renewals; and searching. Other responsibilities include the monitoring and reminder of deadlines and convention dates; handling incoming U.S. and foreign correspondence and reporting thereon; generating reminders for attorneys; creating calendars/charts; preparing and sending notice letters regarding maintenance of US and foreign trademarks; and upkeep of PATTSY trademark database to ensure docket is complete and all deadlines are met. Should have 5+ years of trademark prosecution experience, preferably in the law firm environment. Must have knowledge of both U.S. and foreign prosecution. Must also have experience in online searching and due diligence. Experience in patent prosecution is helpful.
