Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for providing quality administrative and secretarial support promptly following firm policies and procedures. Work with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal and administrative staff to service clients. Should have an Associate's degree in business administration or a related field, and 3+ years of experience as a secretary/administrative assistant. Minimum typing skills of 50 WPM, are required. A commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered. Competent in the full range of computer software related to the position including relevant databases, and MS Office suite. Customer-focused, able to demonstrate specific instances of extraordinary client service, including identifying and anticipating needs, delivering to expectations, and follow-through. Must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing work that is accurate the first time. Must have strong organizational skills that permeate all aspects of work from organizing the physical workspace to filing and time management. The ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy with people at all levels of the organization. Initiative, perseverance, and creativity in meeting stated objectives, able to effectively problem-solve around challenges to achieve objectives. Must have a high level of dependability in completing assigned tasks and in following through on assignments. Effective in juggling multiple priorities in a team environment to ensure timely delivery on all commitments.
