Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities: Preparation and filing of petitions, H-1B visa applications and labor certification applications in addition to L-1 intracompany transfer petitions. Compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation. Maintains direct contact with multiple attorneys. Prepares documents to assist attorneys with matters. Reviews complex legal documents. Compile and analyze case facts. Determine and calendar deadlines. Communicate with clients and visa beneficiaries as needed.
Requirements: Bachelor degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Paralegal certification is preferred. Immigration experience is preferred. International exposure a plus. Paralegal experience is preferred. Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Expertise in Lexis, WestLaw, Live Note, Concordance, Case Map, Docketing, and Document Management Systems. Experience with expense and billing systems a plus.
