Legal Secretary Responsibilities: Responsible for legal secretarial and administrative tasks including: Document creation, editing and preparation, including litigation documents; client and administrative filing; time entry; expense reimbursement processing; client billing and accrual assistance; travel arrangements; email and calendar maintenance. Handle confidential information as necessary. Maintain lawyers contacts lists in Outlook and InterAction. Client contact in person and over the phone. Qualifications: College degree is a plus. 5+ years of recent legal secretarial experience in a mid- to large-size law firm. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently and multi-task. Ability to work in a high-volume environment. Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Outlook; must exhibit strong typing skills and ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. Knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to prioritize and handle ever-changing priorities. Ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player and be committed to providing a high level of client service.
