Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal Responsibilities: Client intake for a new case. Generate case summaries. Drafting settled demand letter and preparing demand packages. Tracking medical providers and ordering records and bills. Negotiating reduction of medical bills with providers. Management of pre-litigation and litigation files, including correspondence, pleading, discovery, and data. Facilitate document management program and litigation holds. Drafting petitions, discovery, basic motions, correspondence, and subpoenas. Preparing case timelines. Case summarization and trial preparation when necessary. Schedule client meetings, depositions, deposition preparations, medications, trial preparation meetings, hearings, trials, and various other case-related events for the attorney. Communicate with clients, witnesses, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, expert witnesses, and consultants. Meet with clients regarding discovery and case updates. Maintain case management information in our case management database. Must have the ability to work with minimal direction and exercise strong initiative, judgment, and confidentiality. Qualifications: Paralegal certificate is preferred. 3-5+ years Texas experience with a law firm or an in-house legal department. Must have 3+ years of Personal Injury experience in Texas with an in-depth knowledge of case management and be experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite. Organizational and professional communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Professional attitude and appearance. Bilingual: Spanish/English.
