Entry-Level Paralegal - Restructuring and Insolvency Responsibilities: Conducts research using LEXIS, Westlaw or other relevant research platforms to support the needs of the client. Performs basic factual research and investigation related to client matters and other due diligence as appropriate. Collects, organizes and maintains documents and files related to legal matters, including documents received from the client, opposing parties or other sources. Manages calendars, docket updates and tickler systems, and assists in meeting deadlines and preparing for and attending court hearings and depositions. Drafts routine correspondence and memoranda for attorneys and more senior level paralegals as requested. Coordinates mailings, copying projects and filings, including electronic databases, where appropriate. Qualifications: Four year degree required; STEM-related concentrations and degree programs preferred. Paralegal Certification from an ABA accredited program preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, firm management and external parties. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, ECF/Pacer, and other legal support software.
