Part-time Legal Secretary / Assistant The candidate will be a file clerk, a receptionist, a legal secretary, and a general assistant. Principal responsibilities will include: all aspects of litigation support such as preparing and filing documents in court and creating internal files; filing, photocopying and scanning; mailing and/or faxing correspondence; conducting trips to FedEx and post-office; calendaring deadlines; preparing subpoenas; managing and organizing documents; drafting correspondence and legal forms; greeting clients and other guests; maintaining attorneys' general calendar; coordinating messengers and deliveries; scheduling meetings and depositions, and assisting attorneys with trial preparations. Should have 5+ years of litigation experience, business and IP litigation experience a plus. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Office 10 is absolutely required; knowledge of Timeslips is highly desired.
