Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate will support a team of partners, associates, and paralegals. Prepare detailed correspondence, legal documents, and forms. Document review, revision, and finalization. E-Filing documents with various court systems. Heavy calendar management. Interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and courts via phone and email, answer, screen, and place calls. Conference call coordination. Travel coordination. Preparation of attorneys expense reports. Time entry for attorneys. Billing coordination (including review of prebills, revisions, and finalizations). Vendor invoice processing. Scan incoming documents and mail them to case files. Other duties as required. The candidate should have 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in litigation be able to work well under pressure, remain flexible, be proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment; high attention to detail and follow-through; excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail; ability to follow instructions effectively and meet deadlines; MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel); experience with legal billing and document management software preferred. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
