Trust and Estate Paralegal Law firm is looking for an experienced Trust and Estate Paralegal to join their team in San Diego, CA. This position offers a competitive salary of $79,252 - $92,900 a year and a comprehensive benefits package. Job Responsibilities: * Handle a diverse workload with practice areas including Estate Planning, Probate, Trust and Estate Litigation, Trust Accounting, Fiduciary Tax Returns, and Family Law. * Draft trusts, wills, deeds, financial powers of attorney, heath care directives, and coordinate efforts with financial planners. * File petitions and lawsuits for probate proceedings. * File petitions and work with clients and professional fiduciaries under Court supervision for guardian and conservatorship proceedings. * Conduct legal research; keep clients abreast of estate planning and probate developments; provide explanations of legal concepts and actions. * Calendaring and scheduling simultaneously pending deadlines. * Perform administrative tasks timely and accurately. * Familiar with California Probate Procedure and state and local Rules of Court, Civil Procedure and Federal Court Rules, and Electronic Filing Procedures. * Primary and secondary legal research via online databases, such as Westlaw/ Westlaw Next, LexisNexis, FindLaw, etc. * Working knowledge of ProLaw desired.
