Paralegal/Client Services Coordinator The candidate will assist with initial client engagement and onboarding including participation on initial intake calls, preparation and collection of engagement letters, and direct communication with clients regarding any initial questions and concerns. Will assist with maintaining practice management databases and generate reports to assist with the coordination, triage, and assignment of new matters to firm attorneys. Maintain and update office templates and related data points. Track the status of ongoing client matters and collaborate directly with attorneys to ensure that all relevant deadlines are timely satisfied. Collaborate with supervising attorneys and clients to perform due diligence including the collection and evaluation of due diligence materials in connection with business and real estate transactions. Support attorneys in connection with the closing of transactions including the preparation of exhibits and schedules as well as the coordination of other logistical matters. Act as liaison between attorneys and various third parties including insurance providers, CPAs, lenders and brokers. Perform entity formation, prepare operating agreements and obtain EINs; Communicate directly with clients to obtain necessary information and advise on the status of such matters. Assist with the preparation and transmission on monthly client invoices and directly communicate with clients concerning invoices. Responsible for uploading new content on the firm website and revising website content. Handle posting/publishing on firm social media accounts; handle email blasts to clients regarding podcasts and developments in the law. Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; a positive attitude; a strong work ethic; excellent communication skills; strong organizational skills; a good command of technology with an aptitude to problem-solve and learn new systems/applications; top quality work product; attention to detail; the ability to work efficiently and independently as well as the ability to work cooperatively as a valued team member; the ability to prioritize workflow, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree is required.
