Employment Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting the attorneys in primarily employment law and civil litigation. Assist attorneys in a fast-paced and challenging environment with the administration and management of clients and cases. Oversee all aspects of setting up case files. Assist with bookkeeping/accounting functions as appropriate. Calendar appointments and make travel arrangements. Filing and scanning documents. Data entry. Sort and distribute incoming mail. Prepare and mail all US/UPS/Fed Ex packages. Marketing and social media campaigns. Get telephonic and email updates for clients. Drafting of form and basic pleadings. Assist with casework. Perform other duties as assigned.
The candidate must have a high school or equivalent degree. Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of Paralegal experience and a Paralegal Certificate. Must have excellent oral and written communications; PC literate, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to problem solve; comfortable dealing with numbers; strong organizational skills and accuracy; good interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment; ability to work independently when needed; flexible and reliable; good telephone demeanor. Fluency in the Spanish language is preferred.
