Japanese Bilingual Administrative Assistant / Legal Secretary Duties: Assist attorneys and other staff members with research and preparation of correspondence, corporate documents, court filings, and litigation. Prepare and translate correspondence (e-mails, letters, etc.). Serve as a liaison between attorneys and Japanese-speaking clients. Word processing, transcription, and data entry. Supervise Records Assistants. Answer telephone calls. Calendaring. Copying and filing. Schedule meetings and travel arrangements.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree. 2+ years' experience as an Administrative Assistant. Strong English and Japanese skills (both verbal and written) (excellent business vocabulary, grammar and writing, accurate translations, effective communication skills). Pleasant and professional voice and attitude for excellent service to clients. Proficiency in a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), ACT, Timeslips, WordPerfect (or able to quickly learn to be proficient with software). Strong work ethic. Organized, detail-oriented, mature, friendly, professional, flexible. Good reasoning and analytical skills. Project management and coordination abilities. Motivated, eager to learn, a team player. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with all personnel and clients. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
