Mergers & Acquisitions Paralegal The candidate will be working in a mid-sized law firm in Orange County that focuses on Business Planning, Estate Planning, Complex Income Tax Planning, Charitable Sector, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Will do management of fast-paced, team-oriented, and document-intensive corporate merger and acquisition projects and voluminous workload for the department. Drafting corporate documents. Assisting with corporate formations and managing client relationships through email or phone communication. The candidate should preferably have Legal experience of 3+ years in business transactions of all types, including the buying and selling of companies, assets, and real estate, formation of legal entities (corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships), legal entity compliance, and maintenance, complex business contracts, business succession plans, buy-sell agreements, and buy-out agreements, corporate and partnership dissolutions. Previous experience with closing deals is preferred. Should have exceptional organizational and computer/word processing skills, the ability to independently multitask with ease and manage several merger and acquisitions projects at one time, with approximately three to four closings per month. Must have experience from the mortgage banking, escrow, and title industries with similar fast-paced closing skills will be strongly considered. Experience with dictation or transcription and typing speed of 60-70 wpm is preferred.
