Paralegal The candidate will assist lawyers and other staff in preparing for transactional closings; completing many administrative tasks related to the business and real estate transactions. Perform due diligence. Draft entity formation documents. Draft organizational documents, including articles of incorporation and fictitious name registration. Draft and file various federal and state forms. Draft documents for board meetings. Prepare annual reports. Draft special minutes for corporate activities. Support corporate records retention and maintenance. Investigate the factual evidence of a transaction or case and preparing exhibits, charts, and diagrams to display information. Conduct fact investigation and analysis. Participate in client interviews. Analyze documentary evidence. Participate in the formulation of discovery plan and drafting of discovery requests. Conduct routine discovery. Conduct legal research related to pleading and motion preparation. Organize and analyze documents. Prepare demonstration exhibits, pretrial notebooks, and other pretrial documents Expected Outcomes. Work with clients, attorneys, and other staff in the firm to ensure all tasks are performed properly, professionally, and timely, that documents satisfy the Firm's and clients requirements and that all work product is appropriate for the assigned task. Should have 2+ Years of experience in paralegal work. A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Requires the ability to multitask and perform accurate, timely work with multiple priorities and deadlines. Must demonstrate strong customer service skills and/or interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong attention to detail and an exemplary desire to produce top-notch work; demonstrated working knowledge of basic computer software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook is required; acting with responsibility, integrity, and accountability; demonstrating consistent trustworthiness and reliability; always remaining flexible, adaptable, and willing to accept coaching; building and managing professionally healthy relationships; deliberately managing career decisions, and continually developing awareness of business-related topics. Understanding various active and passive tools and styles and their effects; and exhibiting appropriate, effective, timely use of tools and styles to connect, collaborate, facilitate teamwork and serve customers; demonstrating an ongoing commitment to compliance, safety, and security; executing work with efficiency, a sense of urgency and attention to detail; and displaying organized work practices and a results-oriented mindset; navigating work-related circumstances with practical, sound reasoning; and demonstrating creativity in problem-solving; displaying good judgment and certainty in decision making; taking initiative with job-related demands; demonstrating innovative thinking and sound planning with business practices; managing individual performance toward shared organizational goals, and thinking strategically to set and accomplish goals.
