Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will join boutique personal injury, motor vehicle accident, mass tort, and medical malpractice law firm to help prepare for trials, create timelines of treatment and pertinent events in cases, perform legal and medical research, organize clients' files, and act as a liaison between clients and the firm. As such, must be a confident and empathetic oral communicator both on the phone and in-person with clients. Bachelor's degree required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, LexisNexis, and Westlaw required. Experience preparing cases for trial in State and Federal Courts a plus. Ability to perform medical research a plus. Candidates with a 3.3 GPA or higher during college will be given highest consideration.
