Environmental Paralegal Responsibilities: Organizing both electronic and paper case files and documents. Case tracking/docketing, including obtaining documents from PACER. Gathering and analyzing of documents, including reviewing documents to respond to discovery requests. Filing OPRA/FOIA requests to obtain government records and reviewing such records at government offices. Interacting with firm personnel and outside counsel. Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases. Performing legal research. Preparing discovery and document binders to prepare practice group attorneys for meetings, mediations, and depositions. Filing pleadings and other documents electronically in federal court via CM/ECF. Supporting other projects as needed. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor A?A s degree. Must have, or be working towards a Paralegal Certification. Must have 2+ years litigation paralegal experience. Familiarity with environmental law is a plus. Strong analytical and research skills. Strong knowledge Microsoft Excel and Office. Experience with large data management systems, including concordance. Familiarity with performing Internet and Lexis research. Experience with trial director. Superior written and oral communication skills.
