Corporate Paralegal The candidate will assist with all stages of corporate formations/organizations, the preparation for and closing of various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions. Maintain corporate records, obtain necessary corporate documents, and draft, review, and file deeds for real estate transactions. Handle all aspects of corporate governance filings for corporations/entities, including preparing tax filings. Maintain corporate records, obtain necessary corporate documents, and draft, review, and file deeds for real estate transactions. Initiate and managing all aspects of the dissolution of for-profit and non-profit corporations. Various other non-billable tasks. 4 years of relevant corporate experience (general corporate transactions, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, tax, etc.) is strongly preferred. 5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm and a comprehensive knowledge of corporate transactions specific procedures and terminology required. Experience with closing large-scale, complex transactions required. Paralegal Certificate or Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Excellent communication skills, analytical and organizational abilities, and a proactive nature to manage multiple priorities and deadlines required. Knowledge of timekeeping for billable and non-billable work required.
