Real Estate Closing Paralegal The candidate will provide a wide range of administrative, communications and document processing support for the firm's three attorneys. Will prepare TRID closing disclosure forms (CD), HUD-1 settlement statements, title insurance forms, deeds, mortgages, and other legal documents for real estate closing transactions. Prepare real estate closing files for document execution by attorneys and clients. Communicate with clients, lenders, Realtors, and service providers in person, by telephone, and by email. Maintain legal files (both paper and electronic); organize and file documents. Print, scan and photocopy legal documents. Manage document deliveries and track final executed documents. Assist with overflow work and other projects as needed. The candidate should preferably have previous experience preparing settlement statements and other real estate closing transaction documents. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word and Outlook as well as document management and other office technologies essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well in a team are essential. Prior experience as Real Estate Closing Paralegal strongly preferred. Accounting skills and experience are a plus.
